Alan Hadden is the lead consultant in the company with 30 years’ experience in senior positions in the manufacturing, regulatory, operator, trade association and consultative sectors of the mobile communications industry.
Invited to be the founding President of GSA (Global mobile Suppliers Association) he led the organisation from 1998 to 2014 to become a world-class trusted source of mobile industry information and the leading wireless industry association for mobile suppliers.
Alan was previously a member of the senior management team of the world’s first PCN (GSM1800) operator (now called EE, part of BT), during start-up, launch, and expansion phases between 1990-1997. He assisted with discussions with overseas regulators, investors and other stakeholders that helped establish 1800 MHz as a mainstream band for mobile communications and advised on opportunities for new operator investments overseas. He represented the company in various telecom and regulatory national bodies in the UK and at several international organisations. Before then Alan was Industrial Advisor to the UK communications regulator (now called Ofcom), working in the mobile communications field where he represented views influencing regulation and standardization at national and international level.
Alan is a well known and respected host, chairperson, moderator and speaker at leading industry events globally.
Alan is the author of many reports, information papers, presentations and undertakes regular data analysis for various clients and produces many of the widely-referenced series of LTE, LTE-Advanced and LTE-Advanced Pro networks and device ecosystems reports for GSA.
